I have no idea how to describe this crystal I got for christmas from my honey. It is a crystal that hangs in my window with a bunch of other crystals.

Its a lovely faceted crystal sphere -- and a kinda largeish one too. (1.5" or so across if I'm seeing it right?) :-) I bet it (and your other likewise beautiful examples hanging in the window, esp the one in the middle) casts lovely rainbow colored light spots all around your room when the morning sun hits it just right!! <applause> I have a few similar (though generally smaller/differently shaped) crystal suncatcher pendants of my own, though haven't settled on a good window in my own house to display them yet... <sigh>
I have had many of these and still do. There are even larger ones but this one was made for a chandalier, it usually hangs at the bottom. They made a lot of them in various crystal grades, even swarovski made some.
Yes, I have a very large one too in the last picture. I also have pieces from chandelier's hanging also. I love the rainbows they make!

I have several, too! They are quite common - but always beautiful. You can't beat cut crystal for the wow factor in a window!
