Osage Indian seed jar Ca.1790
Osage Indian 4" spear point.
Found these items approx. 1 foot down during and excavation of an 1880's carriage house.

It looks like a Mohave pot, from what I can see. (The Osage were semi-Nomadic Plains Indians, and did not make pottery.)
Careful-- don't let the local museum find out. LOL.
More photos of the pot would have been a good thing, nevertheless, CanyonRoad, you know your stuff. Interesting that this was posted as a mystery when the poster seemed to know what they had. Eleven days and no response ...?
