Move over Rookwood! Here is a very high quality beautiful painting on this 3-4" round vase by Royal Copenhagen - from Denmark. anyone know how to date it by the marks? another great goodwill find from yesterday. these were all really dirty - as if they'd survived a fire.

I can’t tell from the pic. There should be a little line or bar, above or below, one of the letters in Royal, Copenhagen or Denmark. Can you tell me which word, letter and if over or under?

i'm not sure i see what you are referring to art.pottery. i don't see a line or bar above/below one of the letters. there's the three tide marks below it and to the side of the tidemarks, there is an Au on it's side. ??
