This is a very cute little cup - probably for children with Hippos meeting on a path and falling in love forever after. by Arabia Finland. probably pretty new, but still a nice little mug.

I think these are the Moomins, from a Childrens TV show.

Yay! I love the Moomins! I read all the books when I was a kid (& still have them) & also have some Moomins collectables including a dish made by Arabia.
Tove Jansson, the artist & writer who created the Moomins, was an amazing person. Both her parents were also artists (her father a sculptor, & her mother, a painter & illustrator who also designed postage stamps for Finland) & she lived a fascinating, unconventional life. I've read her memoir, "Sculptor's Daughter", & can highly recommend it!
