    Found this iron bookpress at a place in Florida we frequent when we go to the beach. I’m guessing late 19th century. Dealer said it was sourced either in Belgium or France. I love iron and mechanical things and books, so this is a great combination of those interests. Anybody familiar with these things is welcome to chime in.

      I luv things like this. It's a shame that it won't go any further with us collectors because the new owners of CW won't correct our problems. Probably not enough profit margin for the mongols.

      Hey, I could use one of those when I re-do boards and binding on antique books. Currently, I just use more books and heavy weights. Hah hah.
