There is the name of well known maker of glass on the edge of the bowl. The frosted glass bowl fits perfectly onto the frame. Stands 6 1/2 inches high. Can't find another on the web. I don't think this is meant for hospital use, as the bowl would be stainless steel. Snack bowl for a group of lazy people? LOL

UPDATE: Johnsmith has found the original design for me. The original bowl was clear, so I imagine the one in mine is replacement even though it fits precisely onto the frame.
