Found this at an estate sale in my area. I believe it it Ivory but don't know for sure. Any ideas as to the origin or how to determine if it is really ivory. It is approximately 2 1/2" tall X 2" wide and weighs 58 grams,
I have added some better quality images. After reading and viewing other similar images I do believe it is ivory.

The first thing I would look at is if it has striations on the surface, not just white.
