Wow!! Excellent find!! There are a lot of Jenny Lind trunks out there. Speaking with Jim Cardoza in the past from HMS trunks, as he has been around, .... he states he looks for these trunks with slats, as they are the least common of the Jenny Lind trunks. If one takes the time to look, you will find this to be true. Ones with slats like this nice find, because of the slats have way more character and trunk style than without. Its not hard to distinguish this fact while searching around. So If you were going to add one to your collection, Then this one, should be the one for sure. Again Great find..I would be on it in a heart beat if the price was right! Hope you succeed.

I have seen this trunk recently in my searches, not bad, but I thought the price was to high for the condition it is in, I wish you good luck in your negotiations, greendog.
greendog- I completely agree- after many calls, unfortunately we couldnt come to an agreement.. not surprising considering the starting price tag!
Some people think they have the Holy Grail, and just wont budge, I see trunks that are 50 to 100 dollar trunks all the time and they want 800 to a 1000 dollars for them, oh well, what can you do, leave them an offer and tell if they change there mind call, its worked for me before, greendog.
