This model was sold from 1967-1971. Also there have been re releases through the years with variations. This version has the F style box which first appeared in 1968 and used through 1969. Chances are it from 1969 as models released in 1967 used the E Box until 1969 usually.
Lots of plastic in this one as the boat is all plastic. It is a reproduction of a Bertram 31 Cabin Cruiser. Seems to have been pleasure craft, cabin cruiser, fishing boat and so on. There are beds and a toilet in the bow. Seems to be a floating camper. Has two driving positions, one in the cabin and one on top aka the flying bridge.
Back to the model the boat is plastic but the trailer is metal. It is being puled by a Pontiac Grand Prix in the last photo. Need something substantial to pull a boat this size.

I really like this one! I've often said how much I love vehicles with a house trailer or boat, they wete among my favorites as a kid. Nice colors, it looks great with the Prix's red. Nice detail, you mentioned the resemblance when I posted a Hubley station wagon/trailer/boat set. They resemble but the Matchbox boat is far more detailed and based on on a real boat. So did Matchbox ever sell the boat in a set with a vehicle or always individually? This is the exact opposite of Hubley. I love this!
The Matchbox trailer is a lot more detailed than the Hubley bare bones trailer also.

Thank you very much Toyrebel. Yes I recall your Hubley boat and trailer. It wasn't sold with a tow vehicle but later in the Superfast years it was sold in a two pack with a tow vehicle.
