I don't remember when or where I got this painting. I would like to know more about the history of the family. I found some listings for Samuel Hopkins, but not sure which one, if any, is the right one.

This must have been a drawing of when the house was first built or planned as the windows placement is the same :

Perhaps, but I don't see it. Not sure it is the same.
Besides, the one in the link is Stephen Hopkins not Samel Hopkins.
My great- grandfather was named Samuel Hopkins and homesteaded in Southern Idaho near Soda Springs. Where did you get this painting?
