I went to a couple thrift shops today and found this vase. I thought it was very interesting. Each panel has a different flower picture on it. My guess was that it was Chinese. There were no id markings on piece. Any ideas about age or if it is Chinese?

this appears to be a variation of a cong vase - Chinese. there is a name for this type of decoration too, but it eludes me.... the shape is cong.
