This plate was in some items that I just bought but I can not find out any info on it. Its marked Nippon but I know how some marks are faked . It measures 10 7/8 inches in diameter. Any info I could get would help. Thanks

As you know, Nippon is the Japanese name for Japan. Obviously exportware.
i probably have a big fantasy it looks like they they stole a symbol from the chinese kangxi period , but than in ZHUANSHI ARCHAIC SEAL SCRIPT , , but i must be mistaken , but maybe there is an interference between pinyin and kangi
i don,t know how high we up concerning the tarif act or the follow up of it, probably quite high although we are missing the MADE OF , but it stamped , but it is also airbubbling in the mark , so i missing consistency
something like 1960 maybe
they are depicting a kangxi theme probably something like -pierced rock- peonies and an exotigue bird , take your pick
