Pistol Derringer 41 short. caliber rimfire Remington ,Saw handle ,Nov 15 1861 date on barrel.Quite rare, in solid condition no ammo is available.
I have been told that it is a non gun. No bluing and barrel is pitted, due to ammo used and out cleaned. Fits my hand nicely pistol fits in scabbard scabbard nicely but shows wear

Nice little deringer. The .41 rimfire came out in 1863.

Yes . I could tell the button that is shown indicates that . I should have stated that. I though that would be noticed right away.
But it is handy yo keep the gun from being wrapped or placed in a box.
