    AnythingOb…
    (1778 items)

After a couple of dreary (but not cold) past days here, it was sunny today so I made a stab at grabbing pics of a few 'springtime flowery things' in and abouts my backyard. THANKS to several other members here for likewise showing similar (better) pics of their own springtime prettinesses -- y'all were my inspiration. :-) :-) :-) -) :-)

Seen here is one (of 3 out there, I think, one is probably technically my next door neighbor's?) little shrubs/bushes that throw out all their tiny purple flowers for a moment (right after the Bradford pear trees do) before otherwise just turning into one more bush I need to mow around (or not) for the rest of the year. I don't have the slightest idea what they really are, at least in terms of a 'species' etc.

Despite the general afternoon sunniness, these pics didn't turn out as well as I hoped, the little splash of 'bright purple' they actually add to my backyard landscape (along w/ other little bloomie weedish stuff where the grass should be, etc., as all starts to 'grow up/out' again this year) didn't end up showing as vibrant as it actually is.

    Hope all y'all enjoy anyways...I do... ;-) :-) :-)

I love Redbuds! My grandson, who was love-struck for a short while, liked them because of their heart-shaped leaves. ;-)
