I failed to pick up any new items so it is leftovers time. I did see a knife for $110 but that was about $50 too much for that. So on with the leftovers from Boys' Life September 1983.
First is a Sears advertisement for the new uniforms. Looks like a Tenderfoot scout there wearing his merit badge sash with 2 merit badges.
Next is an instructor wearing the new uniform a learnin' a scout wearing the old uniform. There was a bit of crossover back then.
And in the #3 spot scouts at a pelican rescue. All properly wearing the new tan shirts and short shorts. I worked for Dominos then and am having an 80s flashback. I recall the shorts shorts we wore for work.
Last is a gun ad. Most of the adverts were for firearms. Probably not so many now.
