Me, in the thrift shop: "Have any glass necklaces?" Reply: "Yes, a red glass necklace just came in." I am then handed this necklace. I spot the 585 (14K) stamp while looking at the clasp. The mark circled in red is the 585 Oak Leaf Assay mark from Waarborg, Netherlands. The other mark is the maker or distributor. Don't know about the mark next to the 585, perhaps the maker of that particular piece. Lovely mid-century period Bohemian faceted Garnets strung on red silk (which would benefit from a bit of tightening.) €12,50 = $14.79.
