      I don't know anything about the artist or piece, but FWIW it appears that the signature was added using an electric engraver pen -- if that's true it might help narrow its age a little, maybe...?? It *is* a pretty thing one way or the other that couldn't *ever* live in my house...kitty cat would dispatch something like that rather promptly, I imagine... <lol>
