This is a beauty. I love the caramel colour with pearl sparkle, the pinched cables going up the side is amazing and very typical of Hineri work. I spotted another on NZs Ebay equivalent and would have loved to have a pair but she was adamant it was "pick up" only and a 600+ kilometer round trip was a tad far.
Iwatsu, who made Hineri brand and Art Glass brand, made great glass.
I have this one in pink with opalescence. They are so lovely.
If you ever see a Japanese vase with those pinched ribs it's likely to be Iwatsu.
Is your GSXR750 a 1985/6 model? Had from new? Great condition.
Hi Karen, it's an 86 got it about 10 years ago, paint was OK but spent heaps of time striping the running gear, cleaning and resurfacing everything else until in the picky it was looking good! And then over a period of 18 months 4 different people decided to back over or 1 case run over it while parked, in it's own parking space.....arrh!!! Each time I did it back up again but after the last one it's still looking a bit secondhand. Never mind it has 6 other slabbies to keep it company. Maybe a picky of the garage will be next. Oops another collection :)
