This Weiss brooch is a favorite of mine, although it does have a few rhinestones that have gone dark. I would like to replace them when I get up the nerve. The rhinestones are all prong set, and I really love the unusual irregular facets of the large blue center stone. It reminds me of an iceberg. This is a large brooch, about 2 1/2 inches wide by 2 and 3/4 inches tall.

This is amazing, and yes! If you try to remove a stone, you could easily break a prong. There’s no going back from that. Something I know to well. So a couple are a little dark, adds to it aging gracefully!
