    These were found in an old timber box in my attic, have no idea what their intended use would have been, does anybody have any ideas ??

      They could be garden dibbles.

      A dibble has to be straight to prevent air from getting around roots. I sooner think the pick end was used to start gasket or thatch cor re-caning a chair and the hammer end used to seat it. Wood would be soft enough to not crush anything if used properly.
