Levi's dominated the shirt market in the 1970s. First with the chambray shirts and then with the traditional cloth shirts like these. The cotton/polyester blend because ironing sucks. The all had the same basic western pattern with the western style pockets, collar and so on. Also the unique slightly larger flat buttons. By pattern I mean the cloth pattern not the pattern on the cloth. But speaking of the pattern on the cloth there were several patterns mostly plaid, solid and checked. This checked pattern was the most popular and this red color and blue were the most popular colors. This is from memory I haven't looked that up.
Also note the two button cuffs. Levi's made high quality clothes. You can see what I mean by flat buttons also in photo #4. If I recall correctly I had 5 Levi's shirts so that it pretty much what I wore back in the 70s/early 80s.

Does the shirt back have the yoke with points (like the pocket flaps)?

Thank you very much fattytail. Modelling the finest in vintage clothing.

Thank you very much Watchsearcher. It is straight across the back. I think Wrangler shirts had the yoke.

Sears made some great Western style shirts as well.

Thank you very much katherinescollections. Another popular brand was Lee and then there was Montgomery Wards.
