A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to search an old abandoned barn and rescue a few pieces of history. Here: a 1951 Penn Tool Co. military-issued (Korean War era) Piton Hammer. Wish I knew more of its original userkor and manner & place in which it was used. If only such tools could speak. Thankful to restore this hammer back to presentable condition – hopefully much like it looked in 1951.
