Hi, all. I haven't posted in a while, but I still stop by now and then to binge on Shows and Tells.
I bought this cute little MCM ashtray from 100-year-old Out West destination Owl Cafe in Battle Mountain, Nevada. I decided it needed some extra sweetening, so I placed it next to a 19th century humidor. What is a vintage Happy Hour without tobacco?
Then I MADE (drew, cut out, rolled) some cigars for the humidor, as well as a "live" cigarette, complete with wisps of smoke made out of my dog's tummy-hair! I tricked my ol' man into taking a look without knowing what he was looking AT. He was almost ready to bark at me for putting a burning cigarette in my cabinet when he realized the joke. Aren't you glad you don't live with me?
