There are no discernable marks at all on this unusual (I think, in that I've never seen another?) little tool. It is a little over 4-1/2" long, a flat blade screwdriver blade on one end of a round steel shaft with a 1-1/4" miniature ball-pein hammer head on the other.

I've had it a long time, but still don't really have any idea of what it was intended for if anything but a novelty, in which case it'd probably advertise something. Maybe it was an accessory for a sewing machine (but again, no name??) or somesuch other small machine of the like that might occasionally need a gentle impact adjustment, but it would certainly only be capable of a *very* gentle smack to something, which doesn't seem quite right with the size of the presumed larger screw head the driver end would fit...???

Please leave a comment if YOU have any idea, or even just a guess?!! :-) :-) :-)

Probably made by Indestro mfg. Co. out of Chicago. Might very easily be a salesman's sample.

I just recently found the same hammer at my place today so I reversed image searched the picture I took of it and ended up on this website. In the little bit of time researching this I have found nothing. However I have my own theory of what this tool was used for. Where It was located was where our old tire balancer sat. I believe this tool was used to mount and dismount tire balance weights. I hope this answers some curiosity for you

THANK YOU chrisklug1979. (and for that matter, fhrjr2) Any further clue remains more than I already know about it, and is greatly appreciated. :-) :-) :-)
