Or maybe a penguin. I found this locally so assume it is from the Inglewood Glass Plant the colour and decoration are typical but I cant make head or tail of the signature. Maybe someone locally will know.

One of NZs glass gurus recognised the signature.
"signature you can't read on the penguin is A.[for Amanda] Angus. She worked at Inglewood 1989 - 1992"
