I have posted a few items from the Gabriel Lone Ranger series but this is the first time I posted the Lone Ranger as the Lone Ranger. Last item I posted was the canoe from The Lazy Trapper set. The series is fairly large, I have most of the figures and horses but have a way to go on the on the costume and accessory set. Plus there is a town.
Now let me say this about the Lone Ranger. The costume is a bit much plus the shooting the guns out of the hands. Maybe the mask too. No one in real life has ever worn a mask like that aside from at a costume party. But there are plenty more outfits for him to wear in this series.
To back up a bit this is a 10" figure, a bit smaller than Johnny West and GI Joe but is well articulated. The one problem with these figures is that when they are left on the horses for a few years the elastic gets stretched and the figure turns into a sloppy mess. I had to buy six of these figures to come up with one with all the pieces and a decent outfit and not a floppy mess. I do have one other from that lot that is missing a foot. .
Much better from this series to come.
The orange bandana would have been better black or even white I think and yet I think this is a real winner with so much detail in the presence of costume, superb !
