Wondering if some could translate the title of this photograph. I think the first part is "long live the regiment" but not sure. Thanks!

Thanks kev123 for the translation! I see the Gneisenau was a battleship, I`m guessing this was part of the crew.?.

Thanks dav2no1 for the love it!

Thanks Jenni!! I had a hard time posting again after the BS I went through before. I miss my old posts, the things that I learned from them and the info that others got from them. So I will probably just post for info(like now) in the future. Sure miss the way the site used to be. Thanks again for being a GREAT FRIEND!!!

I wonder why the officers are the only ones

I assume this is a photo of Colberg Grenadier Regiment "Graf Gneisenau"
Below the photo you can see the names of the persons on the photo. In the front row of the seated soldiers is also Oberst v Wrochem.
On the Wikipedia page, in the list Commandes, there is also Oberst (=Colonel) Alfred von Wrochem 27. Januari 1907 bis 31. März 1910.

There is a good chance that this is the same person as on the photo and so the photo was taken between January 27, 1907, to March 31, 1910
