I had found a gorgeous pitcher with this glaze about 9 years ago, but sadly it was broken a few years back. I was so happy when I saw this was by the same potter.. The glaze is not as fine as my pitcher was, maybe an early attempt? At any rate, I wasn't able, then or now,, to figure out the makers mark, and Google image search was not helpful! Any clues are appreciated! I can't remember how tall it was, about 9 to 10 " is my guess.

Looks like Mowe pottery. Lots of more clearly signed pieces on ebay, etsy...

Thanks kwqd! The pitcher I had before was just like this, and I tried a few different guesses, but still nothing. Maybe you could tell me what your secret is for online research, you've helped me many times, thank you again for sharing your knowledge with me! Headed for a deep dive into mowe pottery now!

Hard to quantify my research skills. I will turn 69 tomorrow and I have been doing research since I was 8 or 9 years old. I eventually earned multiple research focused college degrees and research has been part of my personal and professional lives for decades. It is like breathing. I guess online research requires creating meaningful search queries and the general knowledge of many topics needed to do that.

Well, you've got me by 10 years and a few degrees, I'm a work in progress on anything tech.

Pottery is hard to identify. Maybe your potter is from your area if you found another piece by them. A lot of private potters must mark their work when they fire a piece as usually they have to fire multiple pieces by different makers and firing costs big money so no piece is fired separately.
