Got all my GI Joe Space Capsules together for Space Saturday and it was so much work I am making a post of it. Space Capsules easily tip over and when they tip over they roll off the table and fall on the floor which happens when you have cats.
There are five capsules here and four different type. Two are the original, one is the glow version, one is the Timeless Toys R Us version and last is the Friendship 7 John Glen version. All were made by Hasbro.
The Friendship 7 version is the most distinct as it is black and the clear door is replaced by a more realistic version.
The space suits of the originals use the same material as the actual ones. The timeless version has a white suit and the John Glen version a silver suit but not quite the same as the original.
Very cool space capsules, great design. I can imagine the cats grabbing at them & tipping them over :)
Wow I've never seen so many capsules together. I think the black one looks the best.
Of course you and I see space capsules, but the cats see "wobbly rolly cat toy"
These are SOooooo very cool!! I had something shipped to me a few years ago and the packing used was July 1969 newspapers headlining the Apollo 11 from before the left for the moon til the time they arrived back to earth. I'll have to post those.
