California Indian Mission Style or Schoolgirl Basket

Got this from a Native American gentleman who in the past I bought a few toys from. He has baskets he claims are all from the 1960s or earlier. By the looks of it seems to have some age to it. Anyway this is style dome by the mission Indians ansd girls just learning to make baskets.
The basket is about 5 1/4" wide and 3 1/2" deep. It is perfect for putting stuff in it. I bought a similar one for a gift and thought I would get one for myself.
