In contrast I know the origins of this one. However I'm not sure I've seen this relief décor in pink before,
If you look at image three you'll see a small metal wire going across the rim. It's slightly higher than the metal rim so that probably rules out a missing lid. But what is the wire for?

It looks a lot like a cigar rest.
This is such a neat little item, & I agree, the pink is special.
John2Nhoj, with a waist diameter of only 11 cm it may be a little small for that.............
