Scott, this one is rather a special find. I normally don't go too high for a vintage brooch (although today, they are mostly all costly) but splurged on this classic Castlecliff which has so much going for it
DejaVu indeed there are autumnal colors here but what really attracted me were the orange rhinestones in the blend. That was a color not often seen in costume jewelry, I've mostly found it in Sphinx pieces, and I think a touch of orange is really lovely
Phil the prongs on this brooch are on every stone even the smallest, how cool is that! The mark of a great designer. I often look for pronged pieces because of your kind advice, they age so much more securely
Leesa isn't the color blend fantastic here, the amber stones look golden, and I like the creative way they placed the 'flower petals' in alternate color order (amber, topaz) to give it some dimension. Love the old Castlecliff co they were very unique, have another by them coming soon
