Late November last year I visited Whanganui as there were several events on, the first was at Whanganui Glassworks where in their words "This is a perfect chance to meet the makers and pick up a beautiful piece of New Zealand made glassware." I went a bit crazy and above is the first of my purchases from Greg Swinburne. Greg blows the bowls then hand cuts them with a diamond saw then spends a lot of time engraving and polishing. He is looked on as one of the best around in NZ with his cold work.
approx 180mm x 180mm and the glass is very thick so it's quite a heavy piece

Yes that colour is Cobalt Blue and to me its the best blue. I especially loved the cobalt blue mirrors which has an art deco vibe like this beauty which is the best BHIFOS !~
