I got this on eBay UK as a birthday present to myself, & now I can share it with you!
This is a very charming example of Peloton glass, made from two layers of cased glass, clear over an opalescent white interior, with applied short broken threads in pink, lemon yellow & powder blue.
The vase measures 9.6 cm tall, 7 cm at the widest point of the top rim, & 3.5 cm across the base.
The top rim features four pulled up peaks & there is a tiny pontil mark on the base.
Out of all my Peloton glass items, I have only one other with the same colour scheme as this. Many Peloton items have the combination of pink, yellow, & blue, but this version, with the lemon yellow & powder blues seems to be rarely found.
Most likely Bohemian origin, circa 1880s.

What a beauty!! Wonderful eBay find!
Many thanks, Scott!
You give yourself the best gifts, I do too! It is so soft, I love it.
Thanks also, Deano! Being a collector is always a perfect opportunity to treat yourself, birthday or not! But I actually wrapped this up (plus another cool item still to be posted) just to make it more festive...
Lovely find! Going on the colours of the rods, blue, pink and yellow, I think it's Harrach. I have several and I think you have more too.
Much appreciated, Peggy, thought you'd enjoy this one!
I may get around to doing a post of this with the other vase I have with the exact same colour threads - it was the first Peloton item I ever found way back in 1996.
Harrach sounds very interesting for this!
(Hope you got some nice glass for your birthday too...)
Marin, it's the three colour threads, and that they are, pink, yellow and blue, that link it to Harrach. Also there was a Harrach vase posted elsewhere, by Mike Moir, where the walls of the vase were were two pink, one yellow and one blue. I have a lidded jar with walls and lid in the same colour configuration. I don't think it's chance.
