Here is an 8"W light blue glass fish sitting atop a textured 1"H rounded base, designed by glassmaker Paul Hoff as part of his endangered animal series for the World Wildlife Fund made by Kosta Boda Glass in 1982 in a limited edition of 8000

vinetia thank you for your great comment, he is certainly an imposing fish, in the sunlight the base shows up so well
DejaVu the thing about Paul Hoff glass animals is that he only gave names to some of them, and there is not a guide so most of the time it's a guess, or if purchased from a Swedish seller I tend to believe their name. I have a grey glass KB by Hoff fish that is always called a trout so I think that's already been done, but Hoff certainly could have made another trout pose so it could be.
