    Dear all,

I would be very thrilled to have your input on my new little mystery vase.
A few weeks ago I purchased this vase, thinking it would be attributed to Fritz Heckert as I have found a vase with a similar decor on the "Mad for Glass" website (under the category "Fritz Heckert"). However, yesterday I coincidentally came across three other examples of vases with a metal frame that looks identical to the one on my vase. It appeared on a well known auction website, as well as in another post on this website (title: "Vase with metal mount 1902-1903. Lötz, School of Koloman Moser, possibly Antoinette Krasnik? (H:17 cm.)"), and then third, it appeared on the Cornell Glass website (title: "Vase, Red and Green Glass", Object number: 99.078.126). Unfortunately I can't share screenshots of all three metal frame examples as I can only post four pictures.
Anyhow, my thought process boils down to the following dilemma:
If I judge the vase by its painted decor, based on the Mad for Glass example, my vase would be made by Fritz Heckert. If on the other hand I focus on the metal frame, it could be made by Loetz. Then again however, I checked for similar decors at Loetz.com and couldn't find any. Did I miss something? Is it Loetz + Kolo Moser? Fritz Heckert? Or is it maybe a collaboration of Fritz Heckert and (the School of) Kolo Moser? Would love to hear your ideas!

Thanks in advance for your input!

P.S. Sorry for the bad quality of my picture. I am in the midst of an intercontinental move, and I cannot take a better picture as the vase is somewhere in a container on its way to Europe... fingers crossed that I get all of my precious finds back in the same state I left them in !
