Paperweights were the "gateway drug" to my life of glass collecting, so I retain a sentimental feeling for them (thanks to that millefiori paperweight I saw in a display showcase of a suburban department store circa 1981) that results in me buying one from time to time, if it's pretty & a good deal.
This one was definitely both of those things, a little gem of a weight by Perthshire, circa 1990s. It has a lovely blue/green ground with a classic cartwheel or spoke set - up of of vibrant colour twists & millefiori canes. There is a central complex cane that reads PPCC, indicating it was made for the Perthshire Paperweight Collectors Club.
