This is a fabulous piece of Art Nouveau glass that I won on eBay AU. I spent a nervous week waiting for this to end, as it had gathered numerous watchers. Luckily, I was the sole bidder in the end.
The vase is made from an opaline glass in a light cream with a uranium content. It features a pulled loop decor in pink that rises up from the base, & satin iridescent finish. The vase measures 16.5 cm tall, 3 cm across the top rim, & 6.5 cm across the base. The simple form is nicely set off by some pinched dimples.
The top rim is a bit “chippy”, but no worries as this is a rare piece of art glass. A decor which I’ve not seen before.
Most likely Bohemian origin circa 1900. Maybe Rindskopf or Pallme Koenig?

Love this piece. I have a feeling that the chippy top might be because it had a metal collar that has been removed at some point in time.
A beautiful piece. I am convinced it is a Rindskopf.
Many thanks, jimtim, & yes, I agree that it most likely had a collar once. The seller’s description suggested that as well.
Much appreciated, Ales! Yes, I think so too. It has some affinities with their Pfauen glass decor.
