The "Chimney" vase form was used by a few pottery companies in Mid Century West Germany. This vase would be included in what is called the 'Fat Lava" period, despite its glossy smooth finish, This vase by UEBELACKER KERAMIK is a fine example. The company was around for decades changing it label often. This label dates the vase 1970-1975. The red color was attributed to selenium. I have no definitive attribution for the smaller vase.

My chimney vase is a little more creepy..
