Here is a 6 1-2"H cranberry glass cat with Murano style black eyes & nose, made by Rossi Glass of Niagara Falls Canada, with orig gold label & R in circle raised imprint. Founder Angelo Rossi was born & raised, and trained in glassmaking in Murano Italy, started at Lorraine & Chalet Glass in Canada before starting his co in 1990

DejaVu thank you for your fabulous praise for this glass cat, it's true the Murano type cats have a distinctive look with the upward slanted eyes, it's a simple but kinda cool take on real cats eyes which have that mysterious slant. The cranberry glass by Rossi is unique in that it has a golden sheen under certain lighting, in my pix you can see a bit in the foot in photo #3. I'm always excited to discover a new (to me) glassmaker
