Here is a neat piece of Czech glass from the Art Deco era, featuring a familiar decor on a different shape.
The vase is made from black glass (probably dark red or purple but I’m unable to discern it clearly)
It measures 20.5 cm tall, 2.2 cm across the cut top rim, & 4.5 cm across the base.
There is a bottom up spatter in bold shades of orange & yellow. There are thin orange stripes which extend up the neck of the vase, & a cadmium content is present in both the spatter & stripes.
I have a pair of tall vases in this decor, but have never seen it on a small stem vase like this, which is why it caught my eye. I think the decor works very well on it.
Czech origin, circa 1920s/39s era. Maybe Kralik?
