I recently acquired the George Woodall Thomas Webb & Sons pad cameo vase in the first photo. This vase is numbered in the Thomas Webb & Sons factory records as W.2413 (W denotes Woodall Team). A sketch for the design of this vase appears in Grover English Cameo Glass book, page 325 [see third photo].
The Thomas Webb & Sons factory records lists W.2413 as: 6" Green on Queen's Burmese ground, ruby brown on top, with birdhouse. The line drawing notes W.2413 "Colour as 2415". The Webb factory records shows W.2415 is a vase of similar size, with a similar Asian motif water design, and the vase was done in identical colors, including the Queen's Burmese ground. The Woodall design drawing from the Webb factory records is shown in the last photo.
Here's where it gets fun! Woodall vase W.2415 has a side note that it was included with W.2413, so apparently Webb sold these two vases as a set!
I've been able to locate the other vase that was sold together with my vase! The second vase was sold at Sotheby's 'December 12 2024 Important Design' auction. Lot 106, from the Collection of the esteemed Maude B. Feld from New York.
The Maude Feld vase is shown in the Grover, English Cameo Glass book on page 326. where Webb factory sketches show this Woodall pad cameo vase as W.2425. Interestingly vase W.2423 is almost identical to W.2425 with the same cameo motif on the neck as it tapers upward, and it also has a note stating 'Colour as 2415.'

Wow! Pretty cool!!
