Here is a 4"W cranberry glass kiwi bird with dark blue & white spatter pattern, made by glass artist Nigel Schroder of New Zealand, w/orig clear and black label

excellent choice it don,t have to be expensive to be good, good investment, nice equivalent of kaj franck , good knowledge, i use this as client service gift , everybodyd happy

Rob, he is certainly carrying a top heavy rotund little body! Except for the lower part (real kiwis have webbed feet) the artist actually got the body shape right, the birds seems to be teetering on their thin legs :) Oh I love the cranberry glass color too, and it's pretty with the darker accents
The color is lovely on this kiwi bird! It's always a big plus to have the original label as well!

DejaVu thank you for your marvelous comment, this is my 3rd glass kiwi & they're all pretty similar except for their coloring...I too love the cranberry. Labels are a plus for i.d. particularly an international piece like this; have one other NZ animal on the way that's a new co for me, stay tuned
