Here is a 5"W cranberry glass votive candle holder shaped like a sleeping cat, from the 1970s animal votive series made by Indiana Glass of Cincinnati OH, orig label on the bottom

DejaVu you're so right, cats seem to sleep most of the day away esp after playing or eating. This bright cranberry glass is so gorgeous & was a pleasure to photograph. I'm keeping this kitty in a kitchen cabinet in case we should have a long term power failure like the 2-3 wk one from Hurricane Sandy, you couldn't even find batteries for flashlights it was quite traumatic.
