A little old lady brought this to me & said she was not going to give it to her grandsons because they would not take care of it. She thought it might be a Ford Lotus but wasn't sure.I've searched all over the internet & can not find one like it & so here I am, asking for help. Any information would be appreciated. It is made of some kind of plastic or fiberglass but I'm really not sure what it is.

Make your second picture your first one because that is what shows on the forum wall that everyone sees (just go to edit on your page and slide it over). Great car -- good luck, I am sure someone will help you here.

Thanks trunkman. I had no idea how to do that.

I am attaching a link to what appears to me to be another version of your car. It has a number 8 on the front instead of 6 and is described as a representation of Jim Clark's Lotus 40/Indy Car. The listing also states that these were made in Italy/USA and sold in the UK in the late 1960's. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to ask the value of this car as it is but I'd sure like to have some idea & to find out if it's worth restoring. If those are "OK" questions, I'd love to hear from you.
