I was looking at possibly Rindskopf thumbprint greneda...looks more amberina iridescent to me.

Hello - OK all. Which is it -Pepita vs Greneda? Regards.

This is the darker of the two, Pepita. Grenada is (as the name suggests) grenadine red at the top.

lol, well this top looks redder to me and not as dark. I am just trying to learn more about this type of glass and definetely not questioning. I guess am I missing something? Or is there a darkness in the top that I am missing?

By the way, your site is one of my favorited and you can see I do use good references.

The Grenada red is bright red, and this is not. This is not quite as dark as some Pepita, but the coloring is right for it, I have no doubt.

Very much appreciated. Loetz.com is another good one, and used to be my main reference site.
