check out the clorox web site. they date 'em.
bottle was made from 1955-59 and worth $3-10. the lid adds about 1-2 $ to the value. the gallong arent dug as much they break much easier. might be worth more in th future. these are highly colllected with lable opn them. i dug over 1,000 quarts out of one single dump. but only 6 gallons out of the whole dump.

Nice bottle. I found a similar Purex bottle from the 40s recently out in the desert. Similar amber Sani-Clor bleach bottles can be found as well, all from the same basic 40s/50s/early 60s (and I assume earlier) era. Nothing like dropping a glass half-gallon of bleach on the laundry room floor, only to watch the bottle "explode," splashing bleach all over the room and your clothes! And who says there aren't advantages to plastic?
