its the real deal gargoyleco its a little steam engine and it will run to very highly collectible and brings good money
Thanks van although not a steam engine[has a spark plug, and carburator] the tank is the radiator
Could be IHC or maybe early Fairbanks-Morris, NEAT piece, thanks for sharing!!!!!
It may have been home built, the plate that it sits on appears to be torch cut. That's not saying that it isn't old, someone did an excellent job of building that engine, a true work of art & craftsmanship.
Love the retro floor.
Thanks for all the love ,wish I knew how to run it!
Do a Google search for stationary engine clubs in your area, there are several in your state. You should be able to learn a little bit more about your piece and maybe get it running.
Thanks Vontrike!
I've taken this engine to The Tri-State Gas Engine and Tractor assn. show a few times and no one knows ANYTHING about it ,I thought sure I would get some info from a bunch of collectors like them! They just wanted to buy it.
A friend of mine builds model engines & I have sent the picture to him, I have not heard back yet. I'm giving you a link to a video of his engine that he built, his is the second one shown. This video was taken at a model engine show, the machines these people build are amazing, there are four videos in the series.
