Priceless winter time fun for the grand kids & gramps.
Actually some are ones that this grampa played with when he was the same age as the oldest grandson who is 11.
The original 1960's Aurora track is pack away, track shown was purchased about 10 years ago..

Seriously cool grampa!
What great memories!!! Thank you for posting. Many Saturdays spent racing at the local hobby shop when I was a kid.
Wonderful track! You're so lucky to have the space. I am embarking on an ambitious track building project this year. Hopefully the tables will be built and hold 4 lanes for 1/32 scale model racing. The track is the Paramount Ranch Raceway in Southern California. (It's a State Park, today).
Thanks vincentanton.. The AFX track is just a simple cross over on a 3' x 16' table, with the back straightaway @ 11' and the front @9'.. My dreams is to buckle down and do something with 3 sheets of MDF that I have had for 3 years and router a track... but never have convinced myself to take the time.... Someday.. ;-)
Just looked at your collection on the shelf. Nice!
Very nice, thanks for sharing!!!
