I've been trying to find a similar vase on glassware sites but other than Loetz Vesuvian and Sommerso (Murano), I haven't been able to come close to it. It does not have a Pontil..smooth polished base, measures 8" tall by 8" across and weighs almost 12 pounds. Hope my photos will help in it's identification. Thanks everyone. LOU

The trailings on this vase remind me of Lampreys on sharks. I don't have a Blenko Catalogue or book but did they make similar items? The rim is similar to ones on Blenko vases listed online right now. LOU
that is a beauty
Love this! What a fantastic blue come pink combination!
Love it, beautiful colours and all those tadpoles swimming around it....:-)
Thanks Justanovice and inky! I'm leaning towards Skrdlovice; Jan Beranek but none of the items by Jan have these "Tadpole" trailings. However, the color combinations are similar in their ashtrays and vases. Someone will recognize it I'm sure. RER (LOUMANAL)
